What Our Team Says

Working at Cities United has allowed me to blend my research and storytelling skills with my passion for building safe, healthy, and hopeful communities. I’ve grown here from intern to Director, surrounded by a team that pushes me to innovate and stay grounded in purpose. I choose to stay because this movement is changing lives and reshaping systems, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
Margarett M.
Director of Research and Innovation
My experience working at CU has been extremely pivotal; its been life-changing, even. doing this work brings the best out of me and im doing work that MATTERS. working at CU has allowed me to grow in ways that i dont think would be possible elsewhere. I chose to work here because I truly believe in what we do, and why we do it. I also believed in Anthony’s leadership long before he brought his talents to CU. Working on behalf of Black communities has always been important to me in my work, and being at CU allows me to do just that.
